Easily Eliminate Unhealthy Cravings With Green Smoothies

Welcome back!

I would like to start out by stating that the contents of this article merely my opinion based on information I have read from expert authors and from more than a decade of eating and living the way I have on a daily basis. That and my blood work done twice each year which reveals zero deficiencies, I feel this information is very valuable and of course valid. Perhaps it just works for me, my genetics and body type, I can’t say for sure. However, just like smoking cigarettes could probably have an affect on each of us with varying degrees of health negatives, green smoothies, I believe, will have an affect on each one of us with varying degrees of health positives. Try it for yourself, after talking about it with a naturopath or other doctor initially of course.

The body is equipped to heal itself correct? Then why is it that so many people are sick? Maybe that is incorrect and the human body really isn’t equipped for natural healing? No! The predicament is that we a) do not give the body with the suitable amount of tools, usually by way of diet, it requires to become whole again and b) we attack our body with stuff that hinders the operation of the limited number of essential resources that we actually do supply it.

I’m a huge admirer of the raw food lifestyle. To say that adding heat to food beyond a certain temperature destroying much needed enzymes that are significant to assimilation makes sense to me. Beyond that, it is suggested that to get the most from our food we should masticate it until it disappears. Our body has troubles handling big chunks of food. Also, I really feel that men women and children can survive with a a diet of chiefly fruits and dark green leafy vegetables, with of course some healthy fats. Healthy fats in the form of avocados, soaked nuts and seeds is all I eat.

The main foods I have each an every day are composed of lots of raw fruits and greens in the form of green smoothies. Being in a liquid form, my body has no issues assimilating the nutrients.

A giant hurdle for a lot of people when switching diets, and a big one for me is fighting cravings for bad foods. Like a person addicted to drugs or alcohol must go through a detox to heal, we essentially must to do a similar thing. The cells in our body consist of stuff from foods that we have eaten in the past. The body usually craves more of the same unhealthy foods that contribute to the contents of each of the sick cells in our body. With a drug detox, often times, dry sauna therapy is used to sweat the drugs out of the system. This could help eliminate the physical cravings which will allow the person an improved chance at sobriety. For us, adjusting our eating habits may possibly induce the clearing of toxic foods as well which can be conveniently removed in stool, perspiration and perhaps urine. But, we may still having cravings for those foods while some of the contaminants in our cells are still present.

I have found that quickly after having the first drink of my smoothie my cravings for grease, meat, salt, etc began to subside. After I was done drinking the smoothie, the cravings vanished completely and I would be content. The problem then was that the unhealthy cravings would come back as I grew hungry. So I started to make sure I was on top of it and would have another smoothie available before the cravings would come back, or shortly after they reared their ugly heads. The cravings at last subsided for good as I became cleaner. Then I started to crave greens instead!

Now, I would like to ask, do you want to stay sick and overweight or do you want to have a look at a better diet providing your body everything that it needs? Jen Jordyn

When it comes to diet, these days, the world is in a world of hurt. Processed foods, additives and sugars have created an obesity and health problem nightmare. Looking back through the ages, it\’s no wonder. Thousands of years ago, after all, humans couldn\’t eat junk food. Instead, they survived on raw food, which partly explains the fact that many people these days are fighting back and trying a raw food diet plan.

You might have an idea in your mind of what a raw food diet should be. Chances are, though, that you aren\’t entirely right. So, the first step to understanding how a raw food diet can benefit you is to get an idea of what being on a raw food diet actually means.

In fact, you can often just take them with you and eat them on the go. Some of them, such as fruits and nuts, don\’t require any preparation at all. In a day and age when everyone is so busy, that\’s valuable time saved.

Weight loss is another benefit that you could take advantage of. So is an increase in energy. In fact, your energy can actually be increased in two separate ways by a raw food diet. Obviously, the diet itself can energize your body. It will also make it easier for you to get restful sleep each night, though. So, that will give you more energy for daily activities.

Another benefit of a raw food diet is that it can actually reduce stress. Not only that, but it can give your mood a major boost. So, if you feel sad or stressed on a regular basis, you might notice a major change for the better on a raw food diet.

If you\’re starting to think that a raw food diet plan could be the key to health and happiness, there\’s something else to remember. Have You Heard About \”Eating for Energy?\”

February 8, 2010
James B. Hussey

Have you head the buzz about the raw diet? It\’s gaining popularity and buzz, and for more benefits than simply losing weight, but a \”new and old\” way to eat for a long and healthy life. We eat so unhealthy these days, always unwrapping and cooking away nutrients, that we don\’t even consider what we\’re putting into our bodies, and how far we\’ve fallen away from our healthy and all-natural roots.

Eating for Energy means consuming food in its natural and untreated form. There are several street-smart reasons for why this is so necessary for health. Processing and cooking food can take so much of the basic nutritional value from the meal. Consider some of the conventional wisdom you\’ve heard about during your lifetime, such as: If you cook pasta just to the al dente (or medium) stage, it will have more calories, yes, but it will have more of the nutrients in it than if you cooked until it was soggy. Or you probably remember hearing not to peel carrots or potatoes so deeply, because most of the nutrients and values are just under the surface.

When you use the \”Eating for Energy\” system, it means eating unprocessed, raw, organic, whole foods, such as fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds, legumes, dried fruits, seaweeds, etc. It requires a diet that is at least 75% raw! Cooking takes out flavor and nutrition from veggies and fruits. Eating for energy means eating more the way our ancient ancestors did. They didn\’t cook often, and certainly didn\’t cook or can fruits and vegetables. They ate them whole. Their water wasn\’t from a tap; it was natural spring water. Maybe they drank some coconut milk on occasion.

Think of all the grease trapped in grease traps, under every restaurant in America alone. Imagine that\’s your heart–gross! Is a heart attack a part of your retirement plan? Cancer? This isn\’t some scare tactic, just pick up a newspaper and read about the rising cost of healthcare, and ask yourself if there\’s a correlation to our diet. Do you think there just might be a link between obesity, diabetes, cancer and all the other dire statistics–and our diet? Think of \”Eating for Energy\” as a way out of the mad feedback loop…a way out of the cycle of unhealthy family trees.

Doesn\’t it just stand to reason that this is how our bodies were created to eat? It\’s a way of eating that\’s in harmony with our better nature and in harmony with our own common sense. Our bodies were meant to work, and need to work to be efficient. That means exercise, certainly, but it also means eating natural, raw foods that require more energy to metabolize them.

Looking to find the best way to be healthy? Eating for Energy can show you how, or visit James B. Hussey\’s recommendation to find the best advice on eating to live healthy.

December 28, 2009
Ranjitha Vijayakumar

When you\’re learning about something new, it\’s easy to feel overwhelmed by the sheer amount of relevant information available relating to raw food diet weight loss tips. This informative article should help you focus on the central points.

Healthy living is about body, mind and soul including everything from our relationships, how we care for ourselves, our level of self-confidence, our social interactions and recreational activities etc. Therefore, it is important that we become aware of what eating style we are practicing daily, so that we can better address the factors which may be negatively impacting our relationship with our food. Healthy teenage diet plan\’s other important tenet is to increase physical activity. Even just a 30-minute walk a few times a week can be extremely helpful.

Eating a big meal at dinner causes excess stomach acid production. Drinking milk could be a quick fix to the acid reflux problem. Eating lots of fat-free and low-fat dairy products, such as yogurt and cheese, will help prevent osteoporosis. If you don\’t want to spend a little bit of time in the sun to get more vitamin D, which is crucial to the absorption of calcium, try consuming more fortified milk and cereals before turning to supplements. Eat six meals a day. When you eat a large meal then don\’t eat again for several hours, your body is going to hold on to stored fat for energy and you are going to become hungry.

Truthfully, the only difference between you and natural weight loss experts is time. If you\’ll invest a little more time in reading, you\’ll be that much nearer to expert status when it comes to raw food diet weight loss tips.

Fatty snacks fried in hydrogenated oil like potato chips contribute fat and calories and not much else. Instead, grab a handful of dried fruit or a cup of yogurt for the same amount of calories and a lot more nutritional benefit. Fatty foods, sugary foods and drinks, and processed food with excessive amounts of salt can all contribute to poor health – and increase your risk of hair loss and other health problems.

Before ever committing to any purchase we would advise that you read the information detailed on the website extremely carefully, as a responsible retailer your health and wellbeing is our number one priority and we would strongly recommend that you seek medical advice if you are unsure of the suitability of our products for your particular requirements.

Weight loss, or wasting, is one of the commonest symptoms of untreated HIV infection, and can occur at any stage of infection. It needs to be taken seriously because unintentional loss of weight is often a sign that you may have an active HIV-related infection or disease. Weight loss can be a little slow to start with Xenical but patients normally notice some weight loss in the first few weeks of use. A weight loss of around 2 to 3 pounds per week is considered a healthy and sustainable weight loss.

Now you can be a confident expert on raw food diet weight loss tips. OK, maybe not an expert. But you should have something to bring to the table next time you join a discussion on natural weight loss.
