Going Vegan To Lose Weight?
How to lose weight healthily & happily: 1. Eat foods that are nutrient-dense. Eat a variety of healthful, whole foods. 2. Avoid nutrient deficient foods, like many processed foods. Avoid dangerous foods: meat, dairy and eggs. 3. Exercise regularly, preferably an hour a day. Counting calories is a tried and true method for weight loss. But in order to stay healthy, those calories should come from healthy, whole foods. And in order for your heart and lungs to stay healthy and your body to look toned, you need to exercise, too. I know this from experience and research. I recommend reading: – The China Study – The Thrive Diet – Eat More, Weigh Less – Fit or Fat And no, I’m not perfect. I don’t exercise enough and I still eat too many processed foods. But I am a healthy weight and I haven’t got heart disease, diabetes, or cancer. I am a vegan. Easy Veggie Meal Plans
That is because veganism IS crazy!
great blog.. very good tips
my diet consists of:
natural peanut butter
field greens,baby spinach
raw:pumpkin,sunflower,flax,sesame seeds
a variety of raw nuts.
broccoli,cauliflower
rice and breads
you are hot cutie pie very hot!
I used to eat peanut butter, spinach, pumpkin seeds, broccoli, cauliflower, rice and bread especially.
The nuts caused me to be sick, rice and bread bloated me. Broccoli took me a while to realize it was also causing me discomfort.
I used to eat a load of that stuff as well as other vegan labeled things, they are not really good for you. I only realized this after much thought and practice as well as going fully raw.
Ask yourself “Where does the Vegan Society get their claims on B12 from?”
Just another claims, you are no better than the rest of them you hypocrite.
I fail to see how natural foods are “bad” for you. Ive been on this diet for 8 months now and I feel great….I have not been sick. Mind you…I also meditate …I don’t drink or take drugs…esp PHARMA’S
I went veggie because I seen what the FDA was doing to our animals….heavily vaccinating all of them! Anyone who does their “due diligence” even poorly will see that western civilization is the most heavily vaccinated in the world.
peace and conscience love to us all~~~
please…elaborate.
Reasons meat, dairy, eggs are “bad” for you: Vaccines….the FDA has made it LAW that all animals for food must be vaccinated. This causes change in DNA structure …and your eating vaccines…..this weakens your bodies natural defenses against even the common cold…never mind the FLU. Due Diligence is the key here.
I’m glad you have an idea of what they do to non animals as well as the vaccination fraud.
A natural food by definition, is something that is whole and unprocessed in any way. Grains and nuts fail this due to the processing they go through to make them edible and less bitter. Just imagine what a wild grain would taste like; Why do they have to be processed first? Because we cannot eat them raw or in their natural state…
Like you I used to “feel great” on the veggie then later vegan diet. I went vegetarian because one day I just made that connection between meat and animals and life. Later vegan because of something (non graphical) I saw on TV about a pig farm which told me no animal will be free as long as this continues. Then finally raw vegan because of both getting sick from nuts (and oats), and combinations of other things. In short both diets I was sick because I used to eat a lot of things you mentioned.
I knew an obese animal consuming college lecturer. He retired from that place early.

seaweed =] ever eaten seaweed u know it comes on sushi rolls oh and soy milk has it, =] plant derived. hey hey ask yourself how does the animal get it :p silly
your pet is so cute in the background sleeping all snuggly
@Icewolf16, + kangerooelaine,
Think about where exactly seaweed comes from, you cannot just get at it, it is not a human food, same with soy. They are both non essential. Same with supplemets and fortified foods. The B12 claims have been debunked already aswell.
I never do supplements: Why swallow expensive, tasteless pills when you can get vitamins from something that’s far greater quality, a lot cheaper, good tasting, and cooked with love?
Im a vegan i never diet i feel y0u should justs all ways eat right diets are for loser, i never right down what i eat you should justs no when to stop or maybe try eating out of little bowls i eat out of baby bowls and plates and im still and healthy vegan ..
Going vegan will not automatically cause weight loss. I went vegan three years ago and I barely lost ten pounds and I work out. I still can’t get rid of my love handles and that persistent belly fat. I lift weights 3 times a week and I run 2+ miles about 5 times a week and the fat still don’t go away.
I must admit though, I eat about 3000+ calories a day, lol. But that is nromal for someone who lifts weights
so ESKIMOS were unhealty!!!!! stupid b.s,i lost 40 pounds with 24 eggs a week +14 pounds of grass fed meat and raw dairy, take that for healty!
@mike1981ification
I lost all the excess weight by eating oily fish and chicken and coconut oil every day. Just dumping all the grains, dairy and other carbohydrates was a cure for me
Here’s another vid that’ll get these whacked out, obsessed anti-vegans all bent out of shape…3 firefighters lose weight on the Dr. Oz show by going vegan, and one gets his rock hard abs back:
Rip Esselstyn on Dr. Oz – Part 2
I highly agree with you. I hate it when people say that they are vegetarian/vegan and most of their diet is bread or soy products.
i went vegan two years ago and lost 25 lbs. i ended up loosing more but gained like 15 of it back. it sucked, but its all good.
