Hi domenickarina, Your body is probaly hanging on to water and waste because a change is happening. Therefore your body does not know what it is going on so it is in preserve mode. As time passes and your body adapts to the change you will lose the weight. Also make sure you are drinking half your weight in water as well. Good LUCK!!

  20. comedianravikissoon says:

hey what about eating rice? is that ok?

  21. Chaaarge says:

@comedianravikissoon fermented rice is considered raw food I think

  22. ramonalisa says:

@comedianravikissoon unless you use raw rice flour (basmati or a brown) and create a dehydrated flat bread or taco you can’t really call it raw, but as philip said even eating 80 percent raw is a great thing. just be careful how much rice you use. remember to look at the plate and put 20 percent rice and 80 percent veggies, as much green as you can. green drinks also help get the enzymes into your body…as for more protein…try quinoa instead of rice…it makes a whole protein good luck

I am so happy for you…your story brought tears to my eyes…I have been on almost raw for 1 year and 5 months and lost 48 pounds, i feel better than I ever have and have been telling everyone about it. You are an inspiration and I am glad to be on the same track you are … thank you for sharing…may your karma be reflected and your love rewarded…peace…Ramona

Good for you to switch to raw food. The healthier option for sure.

  25. ThePreppyHippie says:

@domenickarina Its just the first week. you could have been severely dehydrated before and now you are upping your water content! don’t worry, it will work!
