Wow, I thought my mom sister and I were the only ones who did that lol small world. I’ve been flirting with veganism for years off and on, but I cracked down last week :) I feel like it finally stuck.

Thank you so much for sharing. I have been a vegetarian for years and I love it :) I do have to admit I do still eat raw fish ( sushi) and shrimp. The entire vegetarian diet is great for controling you glycemic index ;) rich in fiber and so on. Sea weed is also amazing in miso soup or just by itself as a snack. :)

Yes, almond milk is great. I want to make it myself. I paid for this damn vitamix blender I need to put it to use.

Yes…I can feel you on this. I cant convince myself to give up fish and seafood in general…I’ve tried. I love it so much! But I figure I can indulge every now and again.

its good to point out that honey isn’t considered to be vegan either. Personally I’m vegan but I eat honey, purchased from a good quality source. Just personal choice. I can’t give up sushi, but I got rid of the fish.

also… you might want to do more research on agave, most studies actually show agave syrup is worse for you then corn syrup

Great job Colee, the picture is a little blurry when you held it up to see ingredients. You are so lucky if you live near a Whole Foods or a farmers market. What would recommend when trying to find these items?

dont lay off all dairy!!! you need milk!!! go for skim, but really you need the calcium that it provides!!! go for vegan- but by doing that, you might miss out on some really important nutrients that you need
also protein is very important and its harder to find that when you cant eat anythin meat related
    keep that in mind

@ColeeLocks If you do make your own almond milk, I suggest putting about two dates into the mix. It’ll make it sweet and yummy.
