A lot of people are aware of what a vegetarian is as a person who consumes all things other than meat and the only animal products they eat are eggs and dairy. Fruits and vegetables are also dried by sunlight or in a hydrator . They also consume legumes and grains and have these with milk from a young coconut. Tap water is not allowed and they only drink purified water. Many seeds and nuts and even seaweed are also a big part of the raw food diet.

One of the largest benefits that those who go on this particular type of diet is the weight loss that occurs . It is also said that your weight loss will stay off while consuming a raw food diet and your weight will maintain at a lower weight. Another benefit is that your complexion will have a healthier glow and clears up from any issues that may have been there while eating processed or cooked foods. A higher amount of energy is a terrific benefit in addition to lowering the likelihood of getting heart disease or fighting a chronic illness too . All of these things are the reasons why so many people are choosing to eat a mostly raw food diet.

Some foods however , are not healthy to eat uncooked so before you choose to start this diet, check a good website or book on the subject on how to switch over and things that are Ok to consume .
